About Louisville Leak Pros

Louisville Born, Louisville Focused

Louisville Leak Pros was started by technicians who got tired of watching homeowners pay for exploratory demolition. Too many Louisville families were told their only option was to dig up a yard or break open a floor — before anyone had actually located the leak.

We do it the other way around. Locate first. Precisely. Then decide what repair makes sense.

That approach matters more in Louisville than almost anywhere. Our clay soil expands and contracts with the seasons. Our older neighborhoods run on galvanized, cast iron and clay pipe that's well past its design life. And our combined sewer system means basement water problems are common. We know this city's plumbing because it's the only plumbing we work on.

What We Bring to Every Job

• Acoustic listening equipment — ground microphones and amplifiers that hear water escaping under concrete or soil
• Thermal imaging cameras — infrared detection of hot-water leak trails across slabs and walls
• Pressure testing gear — isolates hot, cold and irrigation systems to confirm which line is leaking
• Tracer gas and line tracing — for buried lines that don't give off a strong acoustic signal
• A written report — marked location, photographs and findings you can hand to any plumber or insurer
